Park Cottage 4 stars

Warwick

A Grade II listed cottage built in the 15th century, Park Cottage offers superior, award-winning bed and breakfast and free parking in the heart of the historic town of Warwick.

A full cooked English breakfast is served in a room which once acted as the dairy for the castle and still retains its original sandstone floor. Very last-minute booking at Park Cottage, and once we arrived, we immediately wanted to stay longer. Immaculately clean. Lovely room and facilities and a comfortable bed. Lovely, friendly hosts who make you feel very at home. Breakfast was delicious. 10/10 stay. Sadly for us and not Janet and family, they are closed for Christmas, so we couldn't book a return visit purely because of timing. Otherwise, we would have. Thank you both. A lovely brief stay!

Shakespeare's View 5 stars

Stratford-upon-Avon

Shakespeare’s View is a 5-star bed and breakfast in Stratford-upon-Avon, surrounded by pretty grounds and a fruit orchard. Each bright room has free WiFi and views of the surrounding countryside.

Guests can sample a locally sourced breakfast whilst admiring commanding views over the Avon Valley. Shakespeare’s View boasts a dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking its one acre of garden and orchards. Eli, our hostess has operated a B & B for thirty years and it shows. Her home and garden are beautiful, The view of Shakespeare's town dominates the breath-taking expanse. Breakfast was delightful in her spacious light-filled breakfast room. She also encouraged guests to utilize her family room with little snacks, but we went to a play at the RSC and came home too late. She was a delightful person and we wish her the best life has to offer.
