The B&B is in a lovely location - only a few miles outside the town but in the heart of the countryside. It was so peaceful. It was lovely seeing the birdlife and seemingly deer are often seen in the orchard. I am a fusspot when it comes to food so I was mega impressed by the delicious breakfast - home bread and jams, delicious hot veggie breakfast. The place was also spotless. A lovely property which was exactly as described. Beautifully designed and decorated, quaint and modern, and spotless inside. Lovely touches with welcome food and drinks provided. The cosy cabin was a welcome spot in the evening too. Walking distance to a lovely pub with an unusual and tasty food selection was a bonus.
The architecture and interior design. Nice to see old parts of the hotel being conserved.
Staffed by a lovely and welcoming couple who are more than happy to help. The rooms are equipped and comfortable, and the whole place truly gives you an "old time England" vibe with splashes of modern designs. Rich history, like the area itself, and overall delightful. I will be staying again.

Really lovely and stylish boutique hotel. One of the originals. Spacious room, elegant decorations, comfortable bed, Loved the heated floor in the bathroom! Very friendly staff and easy check-in - there is drop-off parking. Brilliant location within walking distance of the main Stratford attractions, including the theatre. Lots of pubs and cafes nearby if you don't want to pay hotel prices. I suspect we got a good winter break rate but I certainly book again if it was affordable.
Perfect central location, beautiful decor and design throughout the hotel. Very clean, cosy and inviting. Stunning rooms and bathrooms with wonderful extras such as robes and slippers, Diet Coke and water in the fridge and excellent nespresso coffee! Gorgeous hand wash/lotion and toiletries.

The Townhouse ticks all the boxes for a perfect English Inn: a lovely bar, excellent food and friendly staff.
