The Crown has a mixture of traditional and modern bedrooms, including the four-poster suite that featured in the film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. I liked everything in the hotel... The old English style of the hotel along with the fireplace, the restaurant, the entrance, the room and the whole building along with the location gives you feeling of peace and comfort. The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernised 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Some parts date back as far as 1135 and it has kept some of its original design features. Everything was exceptional. The staff were all charming and couldn't do enough to help. The room was beautiful and the garden a delight. We had a delicious evening meal and a wonderful breakfast. The location is lovely - a charming village near the Thames.
