Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. Breakfast was great. Patio was very nice

Set in a traditional 19th-century house, La Mancelle B&B is located in the historic centre of Le Mans, only 280 metres from the Botanic Gardens. Great location, wonderfully finished and immaculately maintained. The hostess makes very tasty breakfast with lots of homemade food She was also great to chat with and gave me plenty of travel tips, which turned out great. Definitely go there!

The property is amazing, a very relaxing spot in the midst of a hectic trip. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The swimming pool was a great way to cool down after a day of driving and touring. The common area provided a pleasant place to spend the evening reading and playing games. We enjoyed a great dinner as well as a fantastic breakfast prepared by the hosts. Roger and Susan are superb hosts, providing everything needed for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The 5 Grande Rue is located in the centre of Le Lude, just 50 metres from Le Lude Castle and a 35-minute drive from Le Mans. Lovely property, nothing was too much trouble. Great secure parking. Super comfy bed.

Located in the centre of Le Mans, Appartements Plantagenet - Le 33 is a self-catering apartment, equipped with free WiFi. The flat is well decorated, spacious, comfortable,kitchen well equipped . The location is very convenient.The host Alex gave well guidance and followed up very closely, and provides good and prompt services.

Located on the Loire River, just a 20-minute drive from Angers, Château de Belle Poule is set on a former farm and offers a 2-hectare park. Saumur is 47 km away. This is the perfect spot to sit and relax. Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.

This B&B with an outdoor pool is set in a 19th-century building on the bank of the Oudon river. Each elegant room features a balcony and garden views and is decorated with fine fabrics. Awesome staff, very thoughtful of your needs and questions. Accommodating hosts as well. Room awesome, clean and ancient vibe (I am so fond of the mix of medieval atmosphere and modern equipment/furniture) which gives a luxury note to it. Bathroom is great as well, bathtub absolutely lit and you can keep the window open without hearing anyone but the nature sounds. I only use cold water but I tried the hot water just in case as well as the heaters, and they work surprisingly fast, even the latest housing options in France sometimes don’t work as good (‘: The noise cancellation and thermal insulation are wonderful, in spite of being an “old” mansion, cottage type of building. Wiiiiide property. Perfect balance between immersive experience (woods, river and birds chirping) and the comfort of a list in the forest property (cosy living rooms with numerous sofas with music listening options, board games, and so on). Very nice swimming pool area. Within walking distance of everything that can come in handy, and yet not a single sound from the city. Good internet connection, either it be data or wifi. A lot of outlets plugging options. The breakfast was a feast, and tbh don’t be like me and skip breakfast cause you woke up too late, but the staff had let it for me to eat even though I was waaaay past time for breakfast or even a brunch. I was ready to just leave it at that but was told that it was for me to eat and there was no problem. Not something to just assume people will do - maybe that was a one time exception due to special circumstances or the business not being too busy that particular time and day - but the fact that I had the opportunity to still eat peacefully all by myself and they brushed it off like it was no problem at all… I thought that was very sweet. Would go back again for a nice chilling retreat!
