The location was excellent and older world charm of the property was delightful. The bed was really comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. The complimentary breakfast( albeit not the usual American Fayre) was really a lovely touch and we met so many people on their travels whilst sharing the communal breakfast table. It’s not exactly what I expected - tho not sure what I did expect🤣, however it was a truly wonderful stay. The staff were all very pleasant and exceptionally helpful.

Newport is a fab place and this hotel matches it. Superbly clean and new. Great staff that couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly and all the facilities needed. 100% a 5 star review for this hotel.
Fantastic walker friendly location near the cliff walk, from here you can walk to the vanderbilts mansion via the cliff walk gorgeous views, most rooms have sea view from one side and others view of large sea pond from the other side, easy to park, right by the main beaches of newport, can leave car at hotel and enjoy the beach, great even for winter days as one can walk by the cliff and beach,
Keith was lovely with his conversation. He gave tour of the place and gave some food recommendations. Place is beautiful old inn with its rustic touch. Breakfast was ok and it had homely feeling
Room was clean. Cleaning lady was pleasant when we saw her.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful, nice interior design, comfy beds, restaurant and bar staff very friendly. At first we were surprised to see the hotel located at a busy road, but the hotel then turned out to be very quiet and relaxing. Close proximity to all tourist attractions in Newport.
There were no breakfast but very clean room, comfortable bed, welcoming staff. Especially liked design and comfort of lounge and swimming pool with small garden. Very nice place for those who would like to get full rest, solo or with family.
