What an absolutely delightful place to call home for a few days! We were looking for a restful spot on a quiet beach after our safari and this was it. The building itself is fascinating….lots of history within, unique and quirky and has everything you need and more. Our rooms were comfy and clean and the balcony in each room overlooking the beach was great. Massi and Miria are the perfect host…there when you need them with answers to all your questions. All staff were so kind and friendly…restaurant staff with whom we interacted the most were the best. The daily breakfast had a perfect selection of continental and hot options. And a juice with fruit and avocado that I wish I could have bottled and brought back home. We ate all three dinners there and they were out of this world (I’m running out of superlatives to describe our stay!). With Massi’s obvious influence they were all traditional Italian. Four amazing courses each night and only $20 USD per person. Worth so much more. I wholeheartedly recommend Zanzibar House as a perfect place to stay for a beach break. Suggest taking the taxi service offered on their site as we chose not to and our cab driver had difficulty locating it. With the help of a kind local on a motorbike however, we did. Thank you Massi and Miria.

Zanzibar Magic Boutique hotel was the perfect stop on our honeymoon to Zanzibar. The staff were so friendly, the food amazing and the location was right on the beachfront. Matemwe beach is quieter than Nungwi or kendwa but the sea was lovely to swim in.

We enjoyed the meals, they were really delicious compared to many foods in Zanzibar! The facilities were well decorated and the interior design was nice😍✨ There were two pools one upstairs and one in the yard.

A great, calm, boutique hotel. Design perfectly fits the surroundings - this is not just a block of flat like many hotels, but very good melted into background buildings, still providing comfort and a premium level of quality. Very helpful personnel and management. Great private excursions organized by Osman, which is great tour guide, as well as very carefully takes care of you during the trip.

Everything about Alladin Boutique hotel is fantastic. The owners are wonderful people, the location is absolutely beautiful and the accomodation itself is brand new and very well designed. Here, you can enjoy the peace and beauty of a part of Zanzibar that is not so touristy, at Western comfort standards.

A slice of paradise in Matemwe! What a gorgeous boutique hotel and what incredible people! From a wonderful warm welcoming on arrival by the management, to clean and comfortable stylish rooms, to great food, everything was amazing! We enjoyed our cocktails at one of the pools, overlooking the ocean, surrounded by the most amazing staff, so helpful and always with a big smile on their faces ☺️ We will be in Zanzibar for 3 more weeks after a safari and we will return to Sunshine! Thanks to all the team! ❤️

It is a boutique hotel with a stunning view over the sea. The hotel isn't big but it is decent enough. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious, very clean and had a shared lovely terrace (since it was located on the first floor). The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
