We were so pleased to have chosen this casa for our 2 night stay in Merida. We could have stayed longer! The welcome on arrival was lovely. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, set just off a beautifully landscaped courtyard featuring a decent sized pool. The kids loved making use of that! The staff were so kind and helpful and the included breakfast was delicious. Only a short walk to the centre of Merida and to lots of lovely restaurants on Calle 47!

The location is excellent, in the city center near restaurants and easily accessible on foot. The area was safe, we had parking, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Towels and bedding were changed daily, and we had no issues. We didn’t feel any humidity in the room, even though the area is generally damp.

Mérida boutique hotel in the centre of Merida. You arrive in this beautifully designed ( by Judith the owner , who is an Interior designer,) a monument to Mexican architecture arranged around a superb courtyard. Our room had a terrace , was very comfortable and a nice bathroom. There is also a great interior pool area which after a day exploring was a great place to relax.
Breakfasts each morning were very tasty and home baked.
Carlos and the team at Casona Origen Merida are top tier. We were provided with a list of recommendations for things to do in and around Merida before our arrival. The staff were readily available and the brekky is delish. Carlos also went above and beyond helping me with a DHL delivery for things I forgot at accommodation in another city. Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would stay again. The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. There are two lush pools and the greenery in the garden make it really peaceful 10/10
Stunning boutique hotel. We chose it for the parking, which is a block away. Short walking distance to the main square/s, so lovely and peaceful. I think we were the only ones there, so had the whole place to ourselves. 4 course breakfast was ample.
Nuik Casa Tropical is a stunning property, beautifully designed with large, bright rooms. Attention to detail is exceptional and both staff and breakfast were lovely. Great to have filtered water available to reduce the need for endless plastic bottles.
This hotel is a hidden gem in the downtown of Merida.
Besides the beautiful architecture, detailed interior design, spacious and comfortable rooms, wonderful mattresses and quietness, the service is one of the kindest and attentive we’ve encountered.
Everyone was amazingly available, since our late arrival at 1 am, fulfilling all our requests and preparing our meals at the previously agreed time (punctually to the very minute).
We’re great fans of small boutique hotels and this one has definitely won our hearts.

Lovely boutique hotel experience. Beautifully designed restoration of historic Casa offering guests a peaceful retreat, aromatherapy, multiple pools and rooftop lounging area. Located in Ermita, you will have an authentic neighborhood experience not likely to occur if you go the route of staying in a chain hotel in tourist zones. Lovely staff and onsite dining.

The Interior design is flawless, the pool area very nice perfect place to spend the hot afternoons Merida.
Small little details like the complimentary tequila bar by the pool, the amazing breakfasts .
The hosts, Sara and Neil,do their best to make you feel welcome and take care off all practical things that you might need during your stay.
