Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere.

Staff are remarkable. So much attention to detail. This is a family owned/run hotel and you feel that they truly care about the property and the guests. Location was exceptional, with a beautiful walk to the beach. Breakfast was delicious, including freshly made eggs of your choice.

Only 50 metres from the beach and the 12-km long seaside promenade, Villa Eugenia is located in the centre of the mediaeval Lovran, on the Opatija Riviera.
Built in 1910 in the Secessionist style, the villa consists of accommodation units with air conditioning, internet connection, a TV, minibar and a safe. A private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries is also provided in each unit. Some room types feature a balcony and sea view.

Spacious luxurious rooms and exceptional staff: all female! Location just steps from a beautiful park, swimming area and restaurants. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and hosted by a wonderful lady who kept everything running efficiently.
