The accommodation was very nicely designed and the views of the caldera were breath taking. the breakfast options were abundant and satisfied every taste. Breakfast could be served in the room and that was blissful! The accolades for this hotel are endless from the arrival to the departure! The best hotel I have ever stayed at! The Hotel’s restaurant Fly Away was a gastronomic tour de force for dinner and their all day menu had amazing choices of Greek gourmet food with a twist! Food for the Gods!

The view is amazing. Honestly the sunset view is the same as Oia - but it’s better because there is no one else around. Bed was comfortable. Terrace and terrace bed was comfortable and nice. Tamara and Yannis were so friendly (staff) They helped recommend activities and transportation and facilitated everything. Bathroom was very nice. Coffee, utensils and glasses provided in the room for free use. Again - the view!! Breath taking.

This was the most beautiful hotel we ever visited, pictures can't describe it enough. When I saw those views I felt pretty emotional. People working here are really nice, ready to fulfill your every need. Hospitality I haven't seen before. When we arrived they brought a cold drink. You return to the hotel after long journey and it's hot they offer you cold drink with ice for free. They also booked a local restaurant for us. Light in our jacuzzi worked weakly, another day someone came to repair it and as a recompensation they brought two bottles of wine. Breakfast is delivered to your private tarace when you wish for it. You can also choose the amount and things you would like to eat. Restaurant below has a very good food, unique dishes we haven't tasted before. Hope we can come back one day and thanks to altana for amazing hospitality.

The set up of the rooms and patio was just outstanding. Nice sized room opened up to a private patio with a private hot tub overlooking the caldera. Absolutely stunning view. Breakfast was legit and served on the patio every morning. That hot tub experience overlooking the lights of Santorini and the caldera at night was unforgettable.

I had the most wonderful stay at Afroessa. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Santorini, making it the ideal place for a serene and relaxing getaway and to watch the marvellous sunset each night. The rooms, pool and facilities are all fantastic and the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. It is only a small hotel, but the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. I would highly recommend Afroessa to anyone heading to Santorini. This place has serious heart and soul and I feel so refreshed from my stay. Thank you!

The views, the sunsets and the location was spectacular. The first instinct was how can this hotel be a 5 star, we didn’t understand Hotels in Santorini. We realized very quickly, how special this Hotel was and the staff, the general manager and assistant manager provided us with an outstanding service. I asked for a coffee machine, within two hours they provided me with a brand new Nespresso cafe machine, the staff guided us with the best local restaurants, when we asked for a transfer or a driver they personally walked us to the cars. Their in house restaurant provided us each morning with a fantastic healthy choice breakfast, all their in house meals were delicious. The hotel provides a big bottle of water daily and more while at the pool. We were beyond happy with our stay.
