Novotel Ipswich Centre, hotel in Woodbridge

In the bustling centre of Ipswich, Novotel Ipswich offers spacious rooms with large work desks and luxury rain showers.

10 minutes far from the train station and 15 from the city centre. In 2 minutes you are in a shopping centre with cinema and restaurants. The staff was kind and professional, and the rooms are nice and tidy. Mine has a fringe as well. The online check in made everything faster. Unfortunately I didn't have breakfast so I can't rate it.

The White Lion Hotel, hotel in Woodbridge

The White Lion is a traditional hotel opposite Aldeburgh’s shingle beach, where wooden huts line the shore.

The welcome was good and the staff were very friendly, particularly those who had experience. Breakfast was good and the scheduled time slots helpful to ensure a prompt service. Breakfast choice was good and the hot options well cooked. Dinner in the bistro was very good too and excellent value. The layout of the accommodation was interesting with a network of corridors and stairs - if you're disabled you should let the hotel know in advance so that you can be offered an appropriate room. Lots of public places to sit and relax.

Was alright for hubby, but not so good for myself. Being disabled the seating was not comfortable in restaurant and food lacked variety for me to choose from

A superbly designed and comfortable self-contained garden studio room. Everything we needed and wanted to hand and all tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. Immediate access to a peaceful terraced garden with an elevated view overlooking the rooftops of the lovely town of Woodbridge makes this a special property.

Beautiful and convenient location for the start of our trip. It was very contemporary in its design and had up to date appliances. The very comfortable bed had lovely linen, although as the bed was raised well over a metre high it would certainly not be suitable for anyone with less than good mobility or young children.

An exceptionally beautiful location, near to the lovely town of Woodbridge. The cabin had a tastefully designed interior, had a comfy sofa and bed, with freeview tv, Netflix and excellent WiFi. The owners were very helpful and friendly without being intrusive and the cabin was separate and secluded, being a good distance from the owners’ house. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying at Meadow View again.
