Whether you're visiting Truro to work or explore, Hotel VARA is an affordable ‘boutique’ sized hotel in a classic townhouse that sits in a leafy residential neighborhood. A short stroll takes you into the center of Truro where you can shop & browse around Cornwall’s capital city.

Top notch staff, wondetfil location very close to the city center and very stylish common areas. Breakfast was delightful as well. It was very convenient to be able to order artisan pizza on a late night.

Make yourself at home in one of our well-appointed bedrooms or apartments, before discovering the independent boutiques and galleries of Cornwall’s city – not forgetting the award-winning farmer’s market which takes place a few yards from the hotel every Saturday.

Very well maintained property with a touch of the old heritage.

Dating back to the early 19th century, The Norway Inn is situated in the village of Perranarworthal. Its restaurant serves home-cooked meals made from local produce, and its bar offers a range of real ales.

The location is very convenient to explore Cornwall. The room is spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Free parking on the spot. The inn is right on the road, however the noise insulation is perfect and we did not hear any noise. Good breakfast in the morning plus we had dinner twice and all the dishes were delicious.

Offering a highly acclaimed restaurant and a private beach area, Driftwood is located in Truro, 4 miles from the Roseland Heritage Coast Sight. Free Wi-Fi access is available.

Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. They all have an en suite bathroom with bathtub or shower, free toiletries, hairdryer and bathrobe. Most rooms feature a sea view.

We had a lovely time at Driftwood. The staff were wonderful and the food was the best we had on our trip to Cornwall - we had the tasting menu at lunchtime and sat on the terrace with the incredible views. Breakfast was also included which was a welcome change to some similar style hotels! The room was very comfortable and had a nice sea view. It was just a short walk down to the beach (and a short walk along the cliff top to the Hidden Hut). We were lucky with the weather so had a great time relaxing in the garden with a drink, but in the evenings sat in the bar and played board games. We will be back!

The layout, the whole interior design of the place felt cozy, fresh and puts you in a relaxing mood. The self check-in went ahead without requiring any clarifications and the amenities added a classy touch to the whole experience.

This is a beautiful place- very relaxed, comfortable with friendly but low key service. Very professional, quietly classy. Everything on point and effortless, delicious and affordable food and drinks, elegant but not trying too hard. Lovely to see local people visiting just for the food.

This is bang in the centre of lovely neat Truro, with a great restaurant as part of the hotel (seemed to us the busiest more or less upmarket restaurant in Truro, attracting "the nice kind of" locals). Spacious gated car park. Lovely rooms ( in what on the continent we would call "traditional country" style, rather than very modern design; but very comfortable), more than spacious enough, helpful staff.

The room and bathroom were decorated in a simple but stylish contemporary design with a huge double bed. It was immaculate. And superbly sound-proofed (there were other guests there, but they might have been very quiet!). The garden is pretty too.

Excellent location, very close to the city centre. Adequate single-room size with small TV. Very clean and comfortable room with free luxury toiletries, tea/coffee-making facilities. Exceptionally welcoming and attentive hosts, Norbert and Peter, were helpful in suggesting interesting places around Cornwall. The house has a beautifully decorated shared lounge and in general is a lovely place with a stunning garden. Breakfast is very varied and abundant. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

The view from the property is stunning and ever changing as the tide on the River Fal goes in and out. At dusk and in the early morning, there were lots of birds on the river. The cabin is well designed and very comfortable. Our hosts were charming and welcoming.
