The decor was beautiful as were the little touches such as the breakfast basket which was left. This helped enormously as we arrived late so the eggs & bread were a welcome find!

Milford Hall Hotel is in the heart of this ancient city, just a short walk from the shopping area and cathedral, and is ideally located for visiting Stonehenge.

Originally a Georgian mansion house, Milford Hall Hotel has been sympathetically extended and successfully combines traditional English hospitality with modern facilities.

Stayed 3 nights. Staff were amazing. Location was a short walk into town. Plenty of parking available. They stored out own milk in fridge for us and froze out freezer blocks for our cool bag. The smorgasbord breakfast looked excellent, and at £10 would have been great value Sadly the day we had breakfast it was order only. So only 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg etc. I would have liked more. Dinner was nice. We had the mixed plate for two, which was excellent. Shower in the bath was good and powerfull, with instant hot water. Towels large and fluffy were changed every day. Room air conditioner was good and powerful. Towel heater in bathroom allowed us to dry the clothes we washed overnight. Chinese takeaway, restaurant, pubs, all short walking distance for food. The staff made out stay exceptional and would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and extremely homely feel. Charming room on the second floor of this historic venue. Warming log fire in the lounge, lovely and helpful staff - nothing seemed too much trouble. Dinner in the lively restaurant was extremely good with top service - a good step up from the usual pub fare. Excellent value, too. A good bus service into Salisbury saving costly parking! Will stay again. Of interest, it is the only boutique hotel in Salisbury recommended by The Daily Telegraph!

This house definitely has the wow factor. We loved the interior design with so many great details and unique styles. The outside spaces are also lovely. Alot of thought and care has gone into this house. It's very comfortable, clean, private and a great location for walking into the city or the public gardens and river around the corner. A fantastic find which we'll definitely return to.
