Beautiful, unique hotel in lovely surroundings. Serious attention to detail on the refurbishment of the Pullman train carriages. Dinner was also delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. I loved the atmosphere in the dining room. Breakfast was also very hearty. Definitely recommend to those looking for an unusual hotel experience.

Good location with a lovely, rural aspect, comfortable and stylish room with HUGE bed, good breakfast and really nice hosts. Add the enclosed animals and the wild deer then it's an oasis of countryside.

Comfortable room. Appreciated the welcome goodies left for us.
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
It’s historic character and modern comfort.
It has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and is beautifully decorated and furnished without being “smart” and “boutique”.
Lovely spa area although the sauna was disappointingly not up to temperature.
Thoughtful touches in the room such as a teapot and a bottle of water, and a complimentary paper
The staff are delightful and attentive but not obtrusive.
Lovely stay at this cosy friendly village pub/inn. Lovely dinner and breakfast. Boutique operation with just a handful of accommodations. Helpful staff too. Was mu=y first stop after an exhausting first day hiking the South Downs Way.
It's in a peaceful part and the staff I spoke to were really lovely. Breakfast was gorgeous, me and my family all had the full English. Decorations and atmosphere of this place was breathtaking and modern with a golf twist. Would go again
Relaxing, peaceful rural woodland location with a patio carefully laid out garden area option for breakfast. Great views over the South Downs - and amazing, dark night sky on a clear night.
The self-contained apartment was well designed with a lovely breakfast basket provided to eat when you want, inside or out.
Sally the host was really helpful throughout our stay.

The furnishings were wonderful
Really lovely bed very comfortable, all the fitting’s & futures were high end, well designed & made us feel as if we were in for a very special 3 night stay.
Beautifully appointed boutique hotel with spa and other facilities (swimming, golf, etc). Could not be faulted. ideal country location, wonderful staff and facilities. Lovely restaurant, bar and public rooms.
Gorgeous apartment in Midhurst - my husband and I stayed with our 8 week old son as we were attending a wedding at nearby Cowdray (which is within easy 5-10min walking distance). The flat itself is stylish, spacious and very comfortable, much easier for a family and better value than a hotel. Bed was large and super comfortable, lovely shower and en-suite, compact and functional kitchen. Helpful communication from owner throughout and useful house book.
The intimate size of the hotel. The gorgeous architecture and comfort of the interior design/textiles. Quality of beds and linen superb. The beautiful grounds wrapping around the hotel. we played croquet, such a treat. The staff were so attentive and welcoming.
