In the heart of Irvine, Braidmead House is just 2 miles from the sandy beaches of the Firth of Clyde. With free parking and free WiFi, the guest house also offers fine Scottish breakfasts.

Set in a grand Victorian house, the elegant bedrooms at Braidmead are individually decorated and each has a private bathroom. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities and a cosy seating area.

The hotel is a beautiful building, with a lovely shared lounge and honesty bar. After excellent communication with Diane before our arrival, we were warmly greeted by James, who provided us with very good recommendations for local meals and services. Location is very convenient. Our room (deluxe double) was large, with a big, comfortable bed, an armchair, and a loveseat by the bay window. Parking is available right at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. 😊

With cosy, classic décor, each room at The South Beach features a TV, radio and tea/coffee for guests to enjoy. Some rooms offer lovely sea views, and you can also make use of a hairdryer and a telephone in the room.

The staff are first-rate, the location is great and the food in the dining room was excellent. They had the best haggis I've ever tasted.

I loved the room. Whoever designed the room was a genius. It had everything you needed and all to hand. The decor was lovely and the room was immaculate. The location is great handy for the maritime museum, the beach and excellent restaurants and pubs Duncan’s bistro, Niche and Harbour Lights. Nick responds promptly to any email enquiry and the girls who clean the rooms check if you need anything; the room was immaculate.

Breakfast was beautiful. We took two of our dogs and the hotel is extremely accommodating for dogs, staff would provide us with water bowls while we were eating breakfast. There is a designated dog space which is just as lovely as the animal free space. Clean rooms.
