Everything. The staff/owner took time to make sure everything was great for you. The chef would come and ask if everything was fine with the food he had prepared. All these little things add up. A great experience.

Overlooking the Firth of Forth railway bridge, The Hawes Inn by Innkeeper's Collection, is just 20 minutes’ drive from the historical city centre of Edinburgh. 2 golf courses are situated within 5 miles of the accommodation.

Booked as a stop over not expecting much but was actually lovely, view out to water and bridge, clean, funny long corridors, which were fun to navigate to rooms, nice food and staff, exceeded expectations.

The Inn has a nice relaxed feel about it, the decor suits the location and my room was gorgeous. I had a balcony room and the view is something else! The service at breakfast was brilliant, very slick and the waitresses were lovely! My room was also very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The room was lovely, modern and clean. Love how the design of the bathroom door allows someone to go to the toilet and another to use the shower and sinks. The staff were friendly.
