Hazelwood House, boutique hotel in Bridgend

Hazelwood House is a purpose built, 4-star guesthouse, just a mile from Bridgend Town Centre. It is set amid a beautifully landscaped garden within a natural meadow. They offer a full Welsh or continental breakfast, as well as free Wi-Fi and free parking.

I loved the place, dining room was great and clean and we had an option of continental or English breakfast. Room was excellent, it also had a microwave. I was extremely satisfied, with the property

    The staff were incredibly friendly, and very welcoming. The main building was very pretty, and the views were stunning. We were able to park almost right outside our room which was very useful. The location is great, and the pub attached was lovely. The decor was also really nicely done. The coffee was lovely at breakfast, and the little tea/coffee station in our room was nice.

    Ok so over and above everything the food is outstanding. Their head chef and his brigade made us the most delicious food we have tasted in a very very long time and my dad and grandad were cooks. The property is stunning and the rooms well designed and nicely contemporary. The breakfast as with dinner was beautifully cooked with clearly local produce.

    Friendly staff, we saw 3 different ladies at the reception desk during our stay and they were all lovely. The room has tea and coffee, a good sized Samsung TV. Location is great for shopping at the designer outlet, a visit to Margam Castle and grounds, or a beach day at Porthcawl.
