This coastal hotel offers free parking and a spectacular location in Barmouth. There is a bar, a garden, and striking views. Snowdon is less than an hour’s drive away through stunning National Parkland.
We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room & bathroom was clean & beautifully decorated with a lovely view, and the location was perfect. The breakfast each morning was delicious, they even had a sausage for our dog! Can’t wait to visit again
Barmouth
This impressive Victorian building has a splendid cliff-top location with stunning views of Cardigan Bay. It offers free parking and a restaurant, and is less than a mile from Barmouth’s centre.
Built in the 1880s for a famous gunmaker, Tyr Graig Castle was designed to resemble both a castle and a double-barrelled shotgun. Today it still has original features, including stained glass windows.
What a lovely place to stay, staff were so helpful and friendly, with stunning views over the coast. If you like history the house/ hotel is full of it.
Dolgellau (Near Barmouth)
Many Regency-period features can be seen within the property, such as reeded doorcases, high ceilings and traditional furniture. A large reef aquarium is situated in the dining room and houses surgeon fish, yellow tangs, clownfish and many other species.
Fantastic location, very clean, great breakfast, beautiful room and Naz was so kind and helpful that made our stay even better than what we expected.
