Simply an amazing hotel - i have travelled all over the world and rarely found a hotel in Germany where I felt that relaxed and welcome - it is not your typical hotel but has much more the feeling of a beautiful family run high quality guest house you would find in New Zealand or the like. These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Location is perfect, just next to the beach entrance. Room was spotless clean and really comfortable. We also liked the room design a lot. We travelled with our dogs and they have prepared food and water bowls and treats for them which was really nice. There is also an option to get beds for the dogs from the hotel, but we brought ours. Hotel restaurant was really good, food was delicious. Staff was friendly and nice. We are really happy with our stay and will surely go again.
Nice location, restaurants and shops within walking distance, appr. 15 min. to beach and Wattmeer. Rich breakfast with a lovely touch. Later checkout possible for extra charge. Free parking at the hotel.
The location of Hotel Kölfhamm is excellent. Near the beach, easy access by car and/or bus and absolutely quiet. There is a playground for children attached to the hotel and there are enough parking slots for cars. Rooms are large, clean and have a modern design. Breakfast offers many variations. In particular, I liked the quality of the bread and the Cappuccino. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel homy.
