Very nice and cozy hotel. 7 minutes walk right to Sanssouci palace. Perfect breakfast and comfortable rooms.

This elegant, 4-star hotel in the Old Town of Potsdam offers free Wi-Fi, soundproofed rooms, creative cuisine, and a conservatory facing the historic Jägertor gate. Sanssouci Palace is just 1 km away.

The classical-style rooms of the Hotel Am Jägertor feature fine materials, air conditioning, and modern bathrooms. Some rooms have a balcony.

It took a little time to reach the hotel because of street closures but that was not fault of the hotel. Since our car was a hybrid we were not able to park in the underground garage. We were greeted immediately upon entry to front door. We went to our room and were able to look out on the Jager Gate across the street. Our room was very comfortable with firm mattress. We found the hotel to be very quiet. We did not hear anybody in hallways. The location was great with many types of restaurants nearby. The hotel had printed some recommendations of restaurants. We picked two of them and were quite pleased. The breakfast was to be experienced. It was great with lots of choices for any type of diet.

    The shower in our room was the best that I have had while traveling around Europe the last 6 years. It was a great design. Usually the door opens into the bathroom and water drains all over the floor. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was great. Very nice to have the train station across the street and our car was safely parked below in the garage. We had a great weekend.

    The apartment is located in a nice villa very close to the Sans souci Park. Stunning views from the window and modern design of the apartments in the ancient villa. Here we found everything for a carefree weekend.

    The apartment was beautifully positioned and artistically designed. We slept deeply in the comfiest bed ever and found the place a peaceful and well provisioned space to relax in. The property was very clean and thoughtful touches everywhere. Welcoming host! We highly recommend this stylish and lovingly prepared apartment!
