Property location is perfect, they can arrange the pick up for free at your arrival to the train station and also back for your departure. Rooms are very new and clean and looks like a hotel boutique. Staff does not speak english but they manage to comunicate using google translate and they were very helpful on providing information about what to do in the city. We were departing early morning and they adapted breakfast schedule so we could eat before leaving which was very kind
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Explained the area, what places to visit, how to get tickets and picked me up and dropped me off at the station.

We love the Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn. Staff are lovely and very helpful, rooms are traditional. Convenient for everything to see and do in the town. Hire a car and driver from reception - visit the locations listed on the chart.
An amazing stay in central Pingyao Old Town. The hotel is very stylishly decorated (in contrast to many other cheesy ones in Pingyao. The room is spacious and the courtyard is nice and quiet. The breakfast is mostly homemade and delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They treated us with tea upon arrival, then afternoon tea. They even remember we preferred whole meal bread from the previous day’s breakfast. It’s not a cheap place (given the general price level in China) but it’s a very memorable experience.
A traditional Pingyao family home inside the city walls but away (5-10 minutes walk) from the busiest tourist part of town. The hosts are lovely. I stayed 2 nights. The first night I was the only guest and I met the family’s delightful 11 year old twin daughters. All in all a great place to feel part of an older China.
Excellent and super attentive customer service, beautiful decoration and interior design, location is perfect to explore the area, delicious and healthy breakfast. We highly recommend Jing’s Residence for your stay in Pingyao.
The staff are very friendly, and helpful, the owner gave us lots of useful advice and tips, due to some circumstances, I called the owner for help after we left the Inn, the owner rescued us by meeting us with his two lovely twins and help book a taxi, we would have missed the train without the owner’s support.

The staff were kind and courteous and did their best to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was beautifully presented and had the heat and lights on when we arrived. Breakfast was good. The pickup and drop off at the train station was a lovely addition which made our stay smooth and comfortable. Very happy with the experience.
We were glad to have chosen this Hotel for our stay in Pingyao. Everything was nice, the rooms are very special, designed into the old Temple. Breakfast even for western people very good. In general, the Restaurant is very good and perhaps the best in Pingyao. Quality of the food is excellent.
