Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. It features collections of ancient Chinese antiques, modern art galleries, a Chinese-style courtyard and accommodation with free wired internet access.

Location is quiet but within walking distance to the attractions and main streets. The hotel is tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture and artwork. They also helped us organize the driver and tours/Li River Cruise. Everything was top notch. I would strongly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a more relaxed experience in Guilin.

Pleasantly surprised that Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel was clean and modern in literally the middle of the city right on the river and a block away from the pedestrian walking street. The hotel has a beautiful interior design, as befits a museum. It so happened that we stayed in three different rooms in the hotel during our stay. All rooms were clean, functional, and very nice. Sympathetic, polite and helpful staff who spoke English. We had no problem leaving our luggage for our one-day trip to Yangchuo. The location of the hotel is right next to the lakes and the park surrounding them. I highly recommend this hotel

Boutique hotel with excellent hospitality. Clean and comfortable and location was good. Note that all rooms are Japanese tatami type and therefore low mattress on the raised floor. Unfortunately, my Dad had a knee problem so getting on and off the low bed was an issue for him. Otherwise, the hotel was very good with a local vibe. Get a higher floor room with a view. Worth it. Nothing to see on the lower levels.

Unique hotel, very comfortable beds, hot showers, fantastic breakfast, beautiful interior design, great location beside river and lake park. We had a great night there listening to all the music and dancing on the edge of the lakes. Wonderful helpful and friendly staff, who very efficiently arranged all our activities and tours for us. We will be back.

This is a proper boutique hotel. The owner is warm and friendly and can’t do enough for you. The room lovely and big and the bed super comfy. The scenery outside the hotel is spectacular and the village the hotel sits in is quaint and useful.

It’s rather cozy place, design of the hotel is very attractive and unusual…. Staff speak more or less good English and react to your inquiries without any delays. They arranged for me the river cruise and transfer from the airport, that was so convenient and price was affordable.

A boutique hotel, close to the lakes with the sun and moon pagoudes, beautifully designed in an ancient Chinese style. The team is outstanding, eager to assist with everthing: transportation and guiding in Longji, a cruse to Yangshuo etc, with a real warm and personal attention. This was priceless to us since Guilin was our first spot in China after Hong Kong and we really needed a help. Our scores are 10 since we cannot score higher. Best hotel ever!

The room was perfect with very nice design, attention to details, very comfortable, very clean and spacious. Congratulations to the designer. In a very quiet location, very accessible from town with Didi very easy to get. Nice view on the karst around. Trip organised by the hotel was tailored for me and I had a wonderful time. Very good breakfast made in the kitchen in front of you. Very helpful staff that really did their best even if demands were not really about the hotel. Very good value for money.
