We showed up to the property via organized car from the hotel and were extremely impressed immediately by the service. The hotel itself exudes luxury yet so cozy with fires going. We have two young kids that were so happy with the cozy nook they had in our room with their own beds. We were on a 3 week vacation in Italy and Switzerland and had the best meals here.

Spacious, comfortable room in the building next door, all newly fitted out and smelling of freshly sawn wood. Good bicycle storage. Lovely and helpful staff. Restaurant serves delicious Swiss food. Lovely garden and roof terrace.
We are 3 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy and the Baer and Post is easily up there amongst the best of the best. Beautiful location. Lovely hotel with everything you need. Great welcome. Very friendly and the owner takes the time to chat to all the guests at dinner. Very good food and breakast. The room, for 3 people was superb. You cannot fault the Baer and Post. Highly recommended. I will stay here again, not with my 2 cycling mates but with my Wife!.
We were in room 10. Right below our window is the porch where people go to smoke. We are non smokers so couldn't open our window until everyone went to bed. Room should be designated for smokers only. Bed was comfortable, room clean, pretty quiet at night. Breakfast was provided and was very good.
