These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
It is European-like standard (very uncommon in my experience here) except that not overpriced :D. Breakfast was excellent, staff super friendly, the lounge is a dream with swimming pool and plants, bbq place, all rooms with terrace to it. My double bed room with aircon felt just like 5 star hotel! Near to the hottest spots in beach and town. Absolutely recommended.

The pousada is amazing, very central with stunning decor. I love how clean and well put together it was. Many thanks to Gil, Ju the manager and all the staff. Breakfast and the Polvo MAIHAI dish was the best I ever tried. I personally requested to meet the owner and the chef as I had to congratulate them for the amazing job. My son loved the pool and was very sad to leave as you can see on the photo.
The room was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't believe how close we were to the beach. The staff were all so friendly and the infinity pool was really the cherry on the cake.
We loved the location, much quieter than the main beach, the sea is a bit rougher but it's worth getting Uber to the town centre in the evenings to avoid the crazy tourism during the day if you really just want to switch off from it all.
The food was lovely too!
The pousada ist beautifully located close to the beach and very clean. The design is timeless and everything is comfortable – a really nice beach vibe. We stayed in the rooms with balcony and it was great. A plus is: the rooms have a wardrobe.
But the best thing is the breakfast included in the price. Freshly made tapioca, cuscuz, juices and fruits… heaven!
We really enjoyed our stay and the wonderful staff made it even better. You’ll get around easily to all the beach close by.
