It is mesmerising,out of this world. Casa de Campo Gracinda is a typical village natural stone house, restored to high and very tasteful standard. The rooms are warm and cosy with great on-suite facilities. The kitchen and lounge is very well equipped and comfortable. Unforunately our trip was accompanied by bad and cold weather, but the house was warm cosy and made more then up for it.

So very special to stay here in this old stone 1 bedroom home which was tastefully modernized. Well equipped with a nice little kitchen and modern bathroom. Good heaters. A fireplace with the wood. Luisa provided a cake and everything we needed for breakfast and all over again for day 2. Gated parking compound. We ate dinner one day at the pizza place which was good. Loved the scenic winding drive to the Penede church. Amazing stay and beautiful area.

We have stayed here a few times now and find the host extremely help and friendly. This time we stayed in the house separate from the main accommodation. This was private, comfortable and clean. The location is great for us and have always found it well priced. It has a lovely swimming pool,great place to relax after a busy day.

So peaceful and comfortable. All sorts of little nooks and crannies where you can find privacy (loved the corn storage house!) My husband and I brought our family here who are visiting and their room was very comfortable as well. Breakfast is not to be missed!

Loved loved loved the location, amazing friendly village, wonderful history, and the casa was beautifully renovated. Very quiet. Pool beautiful but freezing! Enjoyed the view from the pool deck and watching the sun go down. Extremely generous breakfast, kept us going all day. We'll equipped kitchen.

This ancient farm house is situated 5 km from Arcos de Valdevez. It offers a garden with an outdoor swimming pool and air-conditioned rooms overlooking the mountains. Very pleasant stay, the location, staff and accommodations all came together for a great little vacation. 😀

Offering an unbeatable position surrounded by nature in Paranhos, 20 km from Braga, Casa do Rancho is 2 km from the thermal village of Caldelas. The Casa is in a very rural area, just beautiful, with an interesting history. Our host was very helpful. Because of the rain we were not able to take advantage of the nearby views, hikes and national parks. The nearby small town had everything we needed. The room was a bit dark but comfortable and quiet. We’d love to return for another go!

This rustic guesthouse is situated in Amares. The Casa Casal Do Carvalhal offers air-conditioned guestrooms and features an outdoor pool with sun-loungers, and terrace. This was a blissful oasis. Thank you to Rosa and the manager, Ana Maria, for taking care of our every need. Also thanks to the owners of the little grocery 100 metres away who took the time to tell us all about the wine in the region and even offered us a bottle from their private stock! We were delighted and touched. Be sure to visit the vineyard that’s Solar das Bouças, just a 15-minute walk away.
