A good location for a relaxing getaway in Tarapoto, Lodge Casa de Campo "APU SAMAY" is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a rooftop pool, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, free shuttle service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi. Extra facilities include full-day security, meeting rooms, a tour desk and housekeeping service. I went with my best friend and we loved every single detail! It's close enough to Tarapoto but also close to the waterfalls (there's a person from the hotel who took us there, which was great, practical and felt safer, since sometimes it's only you bathing in the waterfall... Totally recommend!). Rooms are comfortable and pretty, beds are of great quality and bathrooms are spacious. The hotel is cozy, not so many rooms, the restaurant is great (our best meals were there) Staff is wonderful (Stefano, Joel, Talía, thank you!), all warm and very helpful - it's very easy to feel welcome because people are so natural in treating you as "part of the group" <3 they also gave us great tips to get ourselves around I liked that they arranged our tours without making them super pricy like other hotels do sometimes (we compared prices with those offered in the city center) Also, loved Luna 🐶
Sauce
Set in Sauce in the San Martin region, Casa de Campo "Villa Maria" features a garden. This guest house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The guest house has family rooms.

We had a fabulous time there. The location was heavenly and the host was very friendly.
Our children made friends with the pet bird, Estrella, and found it hard to depart after one night. We wished we had stayed there the whole week.
They had canoes and we used them free of charge and we got to taste fresh coconuts.
The stay was not cheap but given all the extras we got for free, plus the nice environment, it was a very good deal.
We will be back!

The country house includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge and kitchenware, as well as a coffee machine. Towels and bed linen are available in the country house. The property has an outdoor dining area.
Extra Clean, luxurious, the pool is TOP. A wonderful bar place with an amazing view.
The best was the location, very peaceful surrounding by nature. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and clean. Hot water in the shower works perfect, being in the jungle, many places don’t have hot showers, so for those that enjoy a warm shower after a long day, this is a plus. The river is just next to the lodge and it’s clean and lovely to spend some relaxing time!
Good price value. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The inner courtyard, the garden and the common area is very beautiful and nicely kept. The breakfast is basic but very well done including fresh juice. The internet works very well. It is clean. I liked the location: A little bit outside but still centric on a quiet street (at night).
Breakfas was very nice, we liked it Location was more or less near the center of the city but very quiet, and outside there's rusty road, no a paviment road.

An amazingly quiet getaway with comforts rarely found while travelling in the Amazon. I cannot emphasis enough how surprised i was to have a hot shower with a window view of the jungle. Gorgeous structures, lighting and landscaping. Comfy furnishings and thoughtful design. I loved the in-suite composting toilet too. River swimming access and soundscape were amazing bonuses. I had wonderfully restful sleeps. San Roque de Cumbaza is a tiny town with friendly people and a refreshingly cool climate compared to Tarapoto.
It is on a quiet street in the good side of town.
The hotel is new and looks very luxury. We had a very good time there, the place is beautiful and great for a full relaxation. The bedroom are super confortable and well designed. We even had a jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom! Food was delicious and with a good variety.
This place is just magical. I love the peace and quiet and all the stars I could see in the sky in the night since there was isn’t any light pollution around. I’ve stayed in many places in Tarapoto where there are sooo many loud motocars and since this is outside the city it’s very quiet and peaceful. I also really enjoyed the little puppy on the property and the small monkeys in the trees plus the staff were all very nice and took really good care of me. Next time I want to stay longer!
