Close to the beach (10 mins) but up in jungle part so away from the business of the town. Adrian the owner is fantastic, I felt so at home. Great internet, good work space, lovely outdoor kitchen, very safe and easy to get to. There is a paved road lit with lights on the walk up which is quite new. I think some reviews said about a bad road up to the place but this isn’t the case anymore. Cars can get up easily as can taxis and buses. It’s a proper road now. Adrian’s staff carried my bags up and helped with taxis/buses etc. I was a solo traveller and I felt very happy here. Close to nature but also really comfortable. The place is cleaned every day! Amazing. I will definitely stay here again when I’m next back.
Mazunte

First of all Jorge was an amazing host! Very understanding and very generous and would go above and beyond to make you happy. The place is super quiet, and peaceful, the location is great. We chose the room with AC and tv which was very comfortable. The only issue was the shower was not working properly.
The villa is new, well maintained, location ok but you have to walk up a bit. The pool on the top floor is beautiful and the sunset view is breathtaking. In the evenings it is quiet and peaceful you can only hear the roosters crowing
Really good location in trendy and very cool area and only 5 min walk to ado bus station. Big dorm rooms with plenty of space for luggage etc. it was very quiet when I stayed so I had the dorm largely to myself which was a nice luxury. Good value for money
I loved everything about this place - the setting, the proprietors, the room, the patio with hammock, the fridge, the microwave, the hot/cold water dispenser, the clothesline, the coffee maker, the big jug of water on the patio, the quiet and peacefulness especially. It is set off the road in a tranquil setting. There is a store close by for essentials. It’s an 8-10 minute walk through the small town to get to the beach - very pleasant strolling.
super minimal design, smartly put together, great use of materials. right in the center of town but dead-quiet. there is no real on site staff or services, but they address any questions or needs via whatsapp right away. more like renting a room in a quiet courtyard than a hotel. but it was peaceful and comfortable and the best price in town.
The price value is hard to be. The Hostal is close to the city center (walking distance) and considering that, it is very quiet. The host Jorge is very friendly and helpful. Coffee and cookies in the morning are certainly a nice bonus. And the roof terrace provides a great view. The rooms are not luxurious but absolutely sufficient. I had a small sink in the room, so I could brush my teeth before going to bed! All in all - I can recommend this place!!
It was so quiet, very peaceful and a wonderful sleep. Close to the beach and main street (10-15 min walk). Adrian was very attentive. Offered daily cleaning, supplies (water, tp) as needed. Called us a taxi. Internet was excellent👍 An actual whistling kettle was a bonus to boil water for tea 😍 Provided kitchen essentials, and thank you for the black pepper👌
The hotel is close to everything but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Close to the beach - about 3 mins walk. The space was big. There was hot water in the shower. Drinking water was supplied. Check in was so easy - we were met at the gate and taken straight to the room and given the keys. No big long check in process. wifi was decent for video calls etc. Pool was big. Chris was helpful and communicative. Aircon worked well, but only needed the fans during the night.
We were staying in the bungalow with a sea view and it was wonderfully peaceful. The views were breathtaking. The staff were very nice. It is a short walk uphill from the town, but it's definitely worth it for the views and the quiet. Still only about a 10-15min to the closest beach.
