Amid the tranquility of a cardamom plantation, this beautiful homestay stood out like a crown jewel. And Abin and his mother!! Such generous and friendly host. It truly felt like a homestay. The room quality and cleanliness however was no lesser than a true five star hotel!

Nice little room with a comfortable bed and a large private balcony where you can sit and chill. WiFi works excellent. Everything very clean. Situated very close to the center of Munnar, but peaceful and quiet. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. I strongly recommend a stay at Birdwing Cottage. There is a short steep hill and then a flight of stairs leading to the room.
The room is nice and the shower was really the best I've had in Kerala so far. Great view from the balcony. It was very quiet and peaceful. The location is not in Munnar itself but that didn't bother us.
We had a fantastic stay at Blue Mist. Prakash and his father took great care of us for the two days we spent with them. Not knowing a lot about the area, they helped us with a fantastic tour, we were able to do laundry there and had such a peaceful stay. I would absolutely recommend. Just a few minutes walk into town (Anchal) I'm so glad we stayed here. Munnar can be reached by Tuk Tuk, but it's so much better staying outside for the quiet.
The location is absolutely stunning. A little bit further from the city but that is absolutely worth it and that makes it quiet and peacefull. And the hotel even paid half of the tuktuk fare to get to the hotel! Large room and bathroom, very new and clean. Great views on the tea plantations. Nice, helpfull staff, good food, perfect!
Beautiful views, slightly out of Munnar which meant it was quiet and peaceful, the hosts Ashik and Joy were extremely hospitable providing great food and helping us organise our days in Munnar and travel.

A beautiful, quiet and modern place in a stunning setting. Super kind, friendly and helpful staff. Very nice guided trekking arranged from the hostel. Great food for good prices. And the beds! Warm and cosy. Yes, not close to Munnar, yet you can flag down all local busses to go there and get back. I had a great stay and met remarkable people. One of those cosmic moments.
Thomas and his wife are extremely friendly and hospitable, offering coffee and tea whenever we were at the homestay. Thomas helped us with questions about hiking and other things to do, local transport to Munnar, bus to our next destination, and arranged riksha's. When we didn't have dinner at their place they had good recommendations for restaurants, but their home made food is great! The view from the shared balcony is amazing, the place is quiet despite being next to a tar road and the rooms are clean.
The location is great in the middle of the coffee and Cardamon plantations. The surrounding forest is beautiful and lush. It is very peaceful. You can walk down to the river for a dip. Very convenient also to go hiking to Pettimuti. If you go up to the main road, they are buses to Munnar every 15 or 30 minutes. The location is very convenient for sightseeing. There is a beautiful and large outdoor terrace to chill, have your meals and do bird watching. But what we appreciated it above all were the moment shared with the family.
It was really amazing. This homestay exceeded my expectations. It's situated in a quiet place. People who want to be in peaceful and wants to come near to nature can prefer this stay. I stayed here for 2 days. Breakfast which was made by aunty was so delicious. Still I really miss the food. Kadalai curry was so tasty. This homestay is beside the family's house and they were so humble. They provided everything we want.
