Everything was so lovely; good breakfast, the windows still had the shutters so was able to make it properly dark in the room for those long Scottish summer days AND the sheets were so fricken soft! Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area.

Pub with newly refurbished ensuite rooms that are not over the busy bar. So they are quiet and peaceful. We ordered breakfast the previous evening and it was well cooked and plenty enough. The host and the staff, were friendly, welcoming and helpful as wree some of the locals we chatted to in the bar.
Excellent property with everything you could possibly need. Clean and fresh with great shower and comfy bed. Walking distance to town and plenty dog friendly walks. Private garden space with covered decking not fully enclosed but our dogs don't roam. Quiet and peaceful with ponies in adjacent field. Met Tom who showed us his lovely garden and bar. Other houses on the site but hardly saw anyone.

Was lovely place to stay. Very clean. Quiet. Some beautiful views, ours was off a cemetry with a church in the middle but it was very well kept and clean so it was only a bit scary at night looking out but truth be told i scare easy 😅. All in all very beautiful and peaceful place to visit.

Lovely quiet and peaceful.
Both the room and the bathroom have generous space, warm and cozy. Room has a window with a nice view of the surrounding farmland, bed is big and comfortable. The location is convenient if you travel by car, quiet and peaceful with a great scenic countryside view but not too far away from the town centre. Debbie the hostess is very friendly and welcoming.
