We had an amazing stay at Mansefield House to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. There was plenty of space for all of our family. The hosts have thought of everything you will need (and more) to make your stay comfortable and stress-free! The village of Arrochar is a beautiful location and close to lots of activities. Would definitely return in the future!
Strachur
El Strathlachlan Lodge & Spa es un alojamiento encantador situado en una pequeña aldea escocesa, rodeada de montañas y bosques. The Lodge has everything, superbly equipped. Every time you thought, it would be good if......we looked and it was there. There are even bikes to be used which our kids enjoyed. The Lodge was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We stayed as a family of 4 with teens and made full use of the hot tub, sauna and relaxation room. This really added a luxurious feel to the trip and a delightful addition to the Lodge. We used the Lodge as a base to have days trips around Argyll. Picking up fresh seafood and cooking at the Lodge in the large well equiped kitchen was a great way to spend an evening. The Lodge is also walkable to the Inver restaurant which is a gem and absolutely worth going to if staying. The Lodge owner was fab, gave clear instructions and easily contactable if required.
Lochgoilhead
As the centre piece of Drimsynie Estate, this impressive hotel overlooks its own 9-hole golf course, plus Loch Goil and the Argyllshire mountains. I booked a room for my daughter and I to have a short drive (1.5 hrs) from Glasgow airport, not knowing the area was of such stunning beauty. We were so charmed by the area we had an early supper so we could have time to explore the beach and little community. Our room was in the main lodge had views of the loch, the beds were comfortable with good quality linens, bathroom elegant and well appointed, the lodge had large windows every to maximize the views, the staff were all friendly and helpful. What's NOT to like? This will on my list for a subsequent visit to Scotland.

Es un lodge situado en medio de la naturaleza, en un entorno precioso y apartado del ruido y los turistas. Parece complicado llegar pero no lo es. Está muy bien equipado. La cama es excelente y el baño muy grande y conveniente. Cocina completa con lavadora y lavavajillas. Usamos el horno que funciona genial. La ducha es enorme y el agua sale con fuerza.
Está situado en un pueblo precioso, muy cerca de un lago con jardines, paseos entre naturaleza y un castillo muy bonito. A su alrededor hay varios restaurantes (uno de cocina típica y otro de comida italiana) así como un comercio muy pequeño en el que se pueden comprar cosas básicas. La habitación y baño son amplios y estaban muy limpios. Contamos también con parking en la casa. Para la gente que le gusten los deportes acuáticos hay mucha oferta en el lago (piraguas, canoas, cruceros, ...)
El lugar es impresionante, unas vistas espectaculares, perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza. El hotel es un lujazo. La habitación de 4, cómoda, con espacio suficiente y muy limpia. El desayuno también muy bien y un servicio excelente.
