And when the sun is down, you can sit very cosy and comfortable in the livingroom.

Had a funky feel and good location, extremely nice and helpful staff. Was fairly quiet for our stay but I can imagine a really happy and chilled vibe in season.

The whole house was full of history and character. The room was comfortable, very clean and we received a warm welcome from our friendly host. Despite being in the centre of town, it was quiet at night at Hotel Labranza and there was a charming courtyard full of flowers. Parking was in the square a short walk away. Breakfast wasn’t provided the day we stayed but the cafe nearby was fine.
Hotel is right in the centre of El Escorial which is set in the mountains in beautiful countryside just outside Madrid. the town is a bit of a tourist trap but is a nice place with Philip II's palace and a lot of very pretty countryside around. The owner was very friendly and helpful and had a list of the sights to see and a guide to the best restaurants. His suggested walk up to a viewpoint was quite long and hard but well worth it. You could see the town, the palace and all the way back to Madrid, 25 miles away.

Amazing stay and great breakfast. Very peaceful and quiet, not too far away from the city center and train station.
Everything was thought through to make it a very comfortable stay. Spacious, room with balcony had a lovely view, location is excellent, property well maintained, very clean, large comfortable bed, quiet. Staff very helpful and responsive from before arrival, and throughout our stay. Basic kitchen facilities include a kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. Heating very effective. Town itself is really nice with many good eateries and hiking nearby as well as the main attraction of the monastery.
Quite an authentic and beautiful place to stay. Great bathroom, very good bed, perfect location for hiking (just 10-15 minutes by car to all the best trails), very quiet and secluded.
Lovely accommodation in the grounds of the owners house. Very quiet and peaceful. Great WiFi, lovely clean house, very close to shops. Owner was very thorough, taking our temperature and making sure our shoes were clean.
