Good authentic location; in summer you can even have a swimming pool holiday; the pool of the municipality is opened 7/7 in summer months (€7 per person per day (2023)); we went to Madrid by car approx 40 min; friendly people in the town ( if you speak some Spanish ofc). Little supermarket en two local bars available; also at the swimming pool there are snacking options. Room itself was really clean and practical (shower/tv/AC). Would recommend this.

Hotel clean, quiet and beautifully finished, perfectly ,placed for the Plaza and restaurants, Carlos was the best host with useful information on recommendations for breakfast etc,would definitely stay here again.

Much quieter than expected given its central location. Very responsive staff, a pleasure to deal with.

Relais & Châteaux Heritage Hotel offers 5-star accommodation in Madrid, next to Paseo de la Castellana. It is located on a 20th century listed building beautifully decorated with a belle-époque design. The staff are incredibly helpful and obliging and well go out of there way to assist. Excellent restaurant with a very good breakfast. Near the upmarket shops.

Hiking and mountain guides are available in Peña Pintada. Loved how spacious the room was and the bed and pillows were very comfy! Very close to nature walks and the train and bus stop
