The staff were very attentive and made the stay feel like a personal touch. The farm with the animals on the grounds was a nice addition. The spa was good with all required amenities. Room was spacious overlooking the pool and the vineyard which was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the hydromassage shower was incredible. Modern amenities with the feel of the old house was done well. Dinner was tasty in the old wine cellar which was very romantic. Breakfast was buffet style and nice.

This historic building dates from 1896, and has original features including bare stone walls, wood beams and terracotta floors. Very clean, staff very friendly and really helpful. The Jacuzzi in the room was just a dream, really nice! They also have a nice big restaurant, which is really nice too.

You can enjoy a lake view and a mountain view from the room. The house is perfect for a weekend get together. The open space downstairs allows for people to enjoy each others company while doing different activites (e.g. the people cooking can participate in the conversations happening in the sofa corner, because of the open design). The upstairs rooms are quiet and well insulated, and the shutters keep it nice and dark. The swimming pool was a treat and we were lucky enough that the weather allowed us to enjoy a swim or two, and there are loads of trails and hike opportunities in the surroundings. Very recommended.

The property is surrounded by attractive vineyards and gardens offering lovely mountain and forest views. You can go horse riding in the Comarquinal’s grounds and the surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Absolutely loved the place. This is the place I would want to be, to get away from all the city noise, and relax in a pool with your significant-other. They had a free breakfast, and a "game room" I would call it, plus the cutest cat ever in the room <3 There's a little parking spot right next to the hotel, and the pool was kept nice and clean. Rooms are extremely spacious, and kept clean. This hotel deserves way more than 3 stars, and I had the luxury of meeting the owner, which is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I didn't end up staying the whole period intended, due to an anxiety attack I had. Still not sure what triggered it, but the owner was so nice to credit me the remaining days, and informed me that I can come back and stay those days whenever :)
