This 100-year-old house has been restored using rustic stone, wood and local ceramics. Each heated room includes satellite TV and a private bathroom. You can also book a fully equipped apartment. Julio is a great host - Really passionate about the local area and happy to pass-on information about places of interest, and restaurants, which was great. You'll need to speak and certainly understand Spanish though. We managed OK (ish.) However, I was able to have a conversation in French with Maria, who also works there, and is equally pleasant and accommodating. The property is lovely and full of Galician stone, which we love. The room, though small, had a fine ensuite, with a great shower. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant, with something different each morning, fish, then an omelet, then cheeses and hams, all with lovely rustic toast and excellent coffee. There's also a courtesy fridge which is a good idea. A Ponte de Porte, the local small town, is under 2 Kms away. We walked it, but it was uphill the way back. Lovely town, with a couple of bars and in La Tavernetta da Ponte, an outstanding restaurant. It's a bit pricey, by Spanish standards, but absolutely worth it.

This charming country house is located in the Galician village of Arrueiro, 5 minutes’ drive from 3 sandy beaches. It has a charming lounge with sofas and an open fire.

There are some fantastic hiking routes near the house, along the Costa da Morte. You can also practise water sports at the nearby beaches. La Coruña is an hour’s drive away. We really recommend booking a table at their restaurant. Just amazing, only a few places, so make sure to book it well in advance (one day might not be enough). Great place, fantastic hosts.

Casa de Santa Uxía is located in Ezaro, 5 minutes' drive from Galicia's Costa da Morte. It is a converted farmhouse offering an attractive garden and country-style rooms with a balcony.

This is a beautiful property located in a lovely village. We were walking the Camino, and had booked this in advanced, and realized that we were a bit off the main trail. We managed to get to this place and we’re very happy that we did.

Located at the end of the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route, Casa Ceferinos is less than 20 km from the beautiful Finisterre Peninsula. Santiago de Compostela is within a 90-minute drive. It's located about in the middle of the Camino between Fisterra and Muxia. The Owners are very nice, dinner and breakfast were great. They also gave us snacks for the walk to Muxia.

It maintains many authentic features such as exposed stone walls. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. A wonderful location, close to so many beaches and lovely villages! We appreciated the communal spaces (awesome yard) and the great breakfast. The owner and her family were so kind and hospitable!
