The air-conditioned country house consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a kettle, and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. The parquet floors, fireplace and peaceful vibe add to the ambience of the room. This country house is allergy-free and non-smoking. Everything was clean and sparkling. It was easy to find and had everything I needed for my stay. Little touches like the cooking supplies, wine, lovely body wash/shampoo/conditioner were a nice surprise too.

It is an absolutely stunning and peaceful location. If you are looking for a quiet getaway to help unwind, this is the place. The host was friendly and informative.
Wonderful quiet location, with nocturnal animal life all around us. The cottage was perfect for our stay, very spacious and well stocked kitchen, comfortable lounge area for relaxing and outside space for chilling out (if time allowed !). Small bedroom with a very comfortable bed and a useful utility room for hand washing clothing. For us the location was perfect as we were interested in birds and wildlife, it is in a rural location and very peaceful.

Fantastic location.l Adventure Bay is spectacular. Amazing scenery. The accommodation sits right opposite the beach and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore was very soothing to listen to at night. The surrounding vegetation attracts lots of interesting bird life. Captain Cook is very quiet and peaceful and a wonderful place for retreat and relaxation.
Very quiet and peaceful, our friends captivated by the wildlife. Very good base to tour the island from. Plenty of room for 4 guests.

Blyth Retreat is a lovely, quiet and peaceful haven, centrally located or a relatively close drive to most amenities on Bruny Island. The house is new and surrounded by natural bush land with views to the bay, is very well appointed and decorated as well as being spotlessly clean. Linda is accommodating and responsive to enquiries and even called us after our contactless entry, to check that we’d arrived safely and were happy with everything - nice touch. we would happily stay here again in the future should we return to Bruny.
