Some of the friendliest hosts we ever met, even with my limited knowledge of Romanian we had great conversations. And: the best afinata in the world is served here :) Very happy dog as well.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
We especially liked the opening to the water and the quiet, relaxing scenery. The staff was helpful and cheery every time. Definitely a great spot for a weekend relaxation on the river.
All same a 5 stars hotel - luxurious bathroom, expensive beds. Can opt for a 2 hrs cruise with hotel's boat 10-15 person in a group. All drinks downstair at pool. Quiet. Great landscapes, somehow between Costiera Amalfitana and Austrian Halstatt lake. Great owners, speaking fluent Italian. At 5th day our stay finished and we doesn't wish to go home.

AC and fridge was nice to have. Very hot summer, so it was nice to have something cold to drink and have the room cool.

It’s a very quiet place for people who want to relax without being disturbed by screaming children or violent music.
Great to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening by the Danube river and listen to the nature’s voices.
The owners are very nice and helpful almost spoiling us with their kindness.
The room was clean and big, with a great view to Danube, the area is quiet, the owner was very nice and helpful. We enjoy our weekend here.
