It was just 2 or 300 metres off the camino. The hosts were very friendly and cooked a beautiful evening meal. Breakfast was good too. The swimming pool was outstanding and much appreciated after a long day's walking. The room and bathroom were modern and well equipped. An excellent place to stay.

Lovely, serene place to stay with beautiful gardens and a great pool/tennis court. The owners were friendly and hospitable - we really enjoyed finding out more about the history of the house and area. Their knowledge really helped us to understand a little more about the region and made it easier to know where to find certain places. Thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful breakfast, friendly host, great family room, amazing views
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
This is a mini luxury spa between Barcelos and Ponte de Lima. The heated pool is covered during bad weather and was great for our stopover. The venue offered an evening meal option for pilgrims on the Portuguese caminho which was excellent value.
The property is a beautiful country house with a spectacular view. Rosa the attendant is very courteous. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere of the house very friendly and cozy. Highly recommended
Fantastic location and setting and a lovely room. Really quiet at night. Great pond full of croaking frogs!!! Communal pilgrim meal was great and a good opportunity to meet others.
If you're walking the Camino, treat yourself. This place is fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt. From luxury bath robes, luxurious pool and most importantly, special hosts. Anna was a delight, serving us a glass of chilled wine as we swam in the pool. Antiono and his lovely wife Jessica cooked an amazing traditional portugese meal and spoke to us about the history of their beautiful home. Definitely the best accommodation we had on the Camino. We feel so lucky that we were able to have this experience. Thankyou
We had a double room with private bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was notably good. The bedroom was spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome with a glass of mint water and a meal was offered. The meal included local wine and olive oil. An honesty bar was also offered. The property was incredibly peaceful and has a great vibe.
Amazing place, would 100% recommend. Met lots of others who stayed here and everyone loves it. The hosts are so friendly, there are hammocks and big bean bags to chill in and picnic tables. You can join a big group meal with fresh produce and wine from their property. And peaceful as its in a vineyard.
This place is nestled in one of the most amazing landscapes and is a peaceful little heaven on Earth.
