Lovely old garden, park-like museum. The house contains a lot of antiques, much cooler even than in the museum. Very nice and quiet place with a green garden and lots of plants. Big parking, fresh air!

The whole casa and the room itslef were very clean and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that for minimum pay I get that comfort and cleanliness. The host was caring and attentive, though not speaking English. They responded positively on our late check-in. There is nothing spectacular about the casa's location; yet it is a perfect overnight stop at the end of Northern Portugal or Douro Valley day trip - a secluded refuge from the bustling Porto, which is just 20 minutes away.

Situated out of the village this is a beautiful, calm and soothing place to enjoy the forest and the sounds of the water outside. Breakfast was great and so was the host. :) Can really recommend this place.

everything was high quality. we are not quantity oriented people, we always look at quality. Its literally 5 star level place, so warm that you feel at home. Staff really amazing, rooms fantastic, design, material used for the construction,perfection etc. place taken care excellently. We always travel due to my son racing competitions, this hotel i entered in my top 5. Ms. Rita who received us, super friendly, I would like to thank her again here in public about the organic apples from the garden she gave to us.

Need to follow Quinta Do Rua Sousa to find this property on Sat Nav. We drove to the property following one route with narrow cobbled windy roads ( width of 1 car), but exited via a much easier route where we passed quite a few bars, restaurants and shops (7 min drive). There is nothing within walking distance. Property directions have no reference to “Dream Corner by Waterfalls”, as listed on Booking.Com, you are met with two white electronic gates. However, when you are there, it fits the description of the property and it’s surroundings - it is beautiful. When you arrive at the property, the Bell is situated on the gate of property No. 102 ( not 112).You are likely to be met by the owner ‘Osario’ and his dog, who will then let you into next electronic gate No. 114 which is the actual property. You can drive to the rooms to unload luggage, then park in close-by different area about 100mtrs away. Osario speaks Portuguese and Spanish - very little English. Other staff ( gardener and housekeeping) are very pleasant and engaging. Our room was beautiful with modern bathroom, mini-fridge, lovely comfortable bed&pillows, luxury organic toiletries including salt scrub. Efficient A/C, only thing you can hear at night is the river fast- flowing. We also had exclusive use of a separate fully fitted kitchen (no oven), inc coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hob etc. Attention to detail is special to this place. There is a separate building with washing machine, ( inc. detergent and fabric conditioner), plenty of places to naturally dry your washing. There is also a charcoal BBQ inc coals and utensils, a swimming pool overlooking the river with sun loungers, lots of seating areas within the gardens with comfy outdoor furniture/ gazebos. You are given pool towels too. My husband went fishing for the morning and caught a few small bream, our dog was able to roam free and made use of the large fields at the side of the buildings.

You have a full huge and well equiped apartment for you. The hosts (Carla and Jose) are super friendly. The bed is AMAZINGLY confortable. The place is really tranquil and the beach of Esmoriz is near enough to reach walking. I fully recommend it.

Well equipped bungalow with a fantastic view on the Douro River. Very nice welcome and introduction. The area is very quite and a great place to relax.

Oh the host was amazing. He was flexible. We needed to stay more we could. As it was our week before wedding, he even got us a souvenir. The view from the windows to the field with animal, beautiful. And the air is perfect as it just next to the park.
