i was lucky to get a mid summer booking and had a wonderful three days. Eugaria is a particularly magical corner of Sintra parish, away from the tourist crowds visiting the palaces and closer to the beaches and forest trails (4.5km via Gigaros to Capuchos). The house and garden is truly charming. I spent one afternoon sitting under the trees with a visiting friend enjoying the view across Colares and the coast. The hosts are friendly and thoughtful. There was seasonal fruit, wine and breakfast items in the room upon arrival. I was able to get around using Bolt / Uber (easy in this area in the summer, longer waits in winter). It was a perfect place to stay for my daughter and I to do our one day sightseeing in Sintra. Andre was super helpful and assisted us every step of the way; assisting with taxis, great restaurants, sightseeing recommendations … you name it … he did all!. Communication overall was great. The location is prefect and it is quiet. Parking is super easy and secure as well, which was very important to us.

Great communication with our hosts. The place was lovely, comfortable and clean. The garden was amazing. There’s a little bakery/restaurant very short, walk away… but be prepared to spend plenty of time there, as service is not exactly prompt. It’s next to a catering company that sells meals to take home, too. There’s a small market that’s a slightly longer walk in the other direction.

Dream Guinho is an incredibly impressive hotel. Despite my familiarity with the area, I was pleasantly surprised by its beautiful wooden design. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and well-trained. Everything is perfectly arranged, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the hotel. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, offering a breathtaking view of the Malvera mountains and Guincho beach. The breakfast provided was both delicious and plentiful.
