The place was spotless, and we were pleased to find that towels were provided for the swimming pool. It was also a nice touch to have a clothes hanger available, which is something often overlooked at other places with pools. My child had a wonderful time in the swimming pool. Additionally, there were excellent restaurants just a few meters from the house, making dining out very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for basic cooking, and the staff was very friendly.

This a quaint little house, within a house. Completely independent and fully furnished to accommodate a couple or a family. The kitchen has everything needed to cook although there are restaurants within driving distance. The bed and bedding were super comfy and the shower powerful. The internet worked well for work and we manage to have quiet nights.

We loved the quiet location and the friendliness of the owners who were always available to deal with any query. They very generously left wine and fruit for our arrival.
They are relatively new owners and there is some building work taking place nearby as they are improving the area generally, but it did not impact on the stay we had.
Lovely swimming pool and each of 3 rooms has an en-suite and 2 share a bathroom, plus there is a downstairs shower room for anyone with mobility issues.
Beds are comfortable, good showers and everywhere was very clean .
Kitchen is well equipped, the seating areas are comfortable and there is plenty of room.
The owners run a bar and restaurant in the town called "Bardo-Medieval Tavern", which is also worth a visit.
If you like wildlife the area is wonderful for walks and birdlife, plus 2 resident friendly goats.
It is a 10-15 minute walk to the local Supermarket and other shops and we used Uber for longer trips which was very easy and reasonably priced.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The comfortable suite with its quiet surroundings makes it the perfect place to rest and relax. Breakfast is delicious and abundant and there are a few restaurants nearby. The swimming pool is beautiful and our hosts Carlos and Felix made us feel at home.
Beautiful, peaceful and quiet place. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony. Many facilities of which a barbecue but we did have the opportunity to use it. Thank you Maria for the lovely stay !
It was so quiet and peaceful during my stay, the host was very friendly and welcoming. Couple of minutes walk to a great local coffee shop and transport links into Sesimbra or Lisbon. I would definitely stay here again!!
Loved the well equipped kitchen.The balcony overlooking the forest was magical and you could hear the birds and stream.Comfotable bed.The appartments were so quiet never heard anybody else.So peaceful.Great to have a washing machine and dishwasher.
Quiet and peaceful but walking distance of shops. Gorgeous beaches a short drive away. Really well equipped with gorgeous big private pool. Julie was on hand for any questions.
It is a hidden gem just off the road from Sesimbra to the Lagoon. A quiet, peaceful little garden of Eden with views across the bay to sintra. A wonderful find and a highlight of our stay in Portugal. Very close to the lagoon which is excellent for a slightly warmer swim than the ocean. Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful - would come back in a heartbeat.
