It’s family run business. They have old vineyards to take care off and are doing great job. I would definitely recommend tasting/buying their wines, they are quite differrent from mainstream. We arrived at Casa do Vale for one night, mainly to see the forts in the nearby town. This is a rural and isolated accommodation complex, very quiet, clean and well-kept, the owner of the property helped us a lot to find the place, the rooms were beautiful and well-decorated. The complex has a pool, but it was too cold to go in and the valley where the complex is located is simply picturesque and stunning. warmly recommended.

All appeared to be very new and good quality. Very comfortable bed, very good breakfast. Very beautiful balcony and surroundings. Extremely kind hosts, very supportive and helpful and available with anything. Ideal place to visit all the area (car most likely needed though). I's so cosy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. You have stunning views from every room. There was a lot of space.
Outside, the house has an amazing private terrace, so comfortable to relax and enjoy the view!
