A delightful stay in a unique village in the mountains. Easy parking outside the village but not far to walk to accommodation. There is a map in the square at the entrance to the village that indicates where Casa da Urze is located. Very friendly and helpful onsite hosts. We had dinner and breakfast there. Despite the low doorways, we loved it!!!

I highly recommend this cosy little comfortable home in a peaceful village. It was very clean and well decorated & equipped with everything we needed for self catering. The shower had great pressure and the air conditioning and outdoor private pool were very much appreciated during the hot weather. We met Jorge, the owner, and he was friendly and very helpful.

A lovely country house in a nice village. A great change from busy cities. House has plenty of space and nice patio & balconies. Room to spread out! it was a great base for visiting nearby sights and cities.
At first I had a room near a noisy neighbouring playground, but changed to a quieter room with no problem whatsoever. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Room lovely and with a balcony.
The casimira house is a great place to spend a family vacation, or even a romantic getaway. The house is in a quiet place and we can find inside it a huge collection of books and DVDS, as well as board games. The patio and the little one outside are ideal for children to play. The balcony at the top of the house is brutal for those who want to stay outside watching the stars and feel the silence of the night. The house has all the necessary amenities to live there a good time. The hostess is of immense and helpful sympathy.
Breakfast was good. The restaurant closure due to Covid was disappointing. The staff is absolutely fabulous! The mountain views are gorgeous. The hotel is quiet and inviting.
