What a place!
We have spent a lot of nights in different places, but never ever seen anything like this.
The house is amazing, the welcome was better than anyone can expect. Right at the end of a dead end street in the most remote, tiny and quiet village, there is this beautiful restored house with breath taking views over the valley.
Everything, but really everything was thought of and better than ever seen before.
If you plan to go to this area, and you like remote places, this house is a must stay!
The land lady (sorry, we forgot her name) lives just around the corner, and welcomed us with such a friendliness and passion for her house and the surroundings. I am sure we will be back one day.

We loved the place! The owner and staff are super nice and helpful, rooms are big, nicely and thoughtfully decorated, bathroom was amazing. The pool was bigger than we expected (rare thing in hotels).

A delightful stay in a unique village in the mountains. Easy parking outside the village but not far to walk to accommodation. There is a map in the square at the entrance to the village that indicates where Casa da Urze is located. Very friendly and helpful onsite hosts. We had dinner and breakfast there. At the end of the holiday I booked relaxation and rest. I found it here in the hotel. The village is small and quiet. The hotel is cozy and has everything I need. The pool is very clean and for breakfast there were fresh fruit salad and croissant. The furnishing is very loving.

There's is also a wood fire stove in the kitchen that heats the open plan kitchen lounge/dining area.
The host left some fire wood for us to use that was enough for our stay.
There is parking at the village entrance on the road and is a very short walk the property (don't try to drive to the property as its very narrow paths)
