What a place!
We have spent a lot of nights in different places, but never ever seen anything like this.
The house is amazing, the welcome was better than anyone can expect. Right at the end of a dead end street in the most remote, tiny and quiet village, there is this beautiful restored house with breath taking views over the valley.
Everything, but really everything was thought of and better than ever seen before.
If you plan to go to this area, and you like remote places, this house is a must stay!
The land lady (sorry, we forgot her name) lives just around the corner, and welcomed us with such a friendliness and passion for her house and the surroundings. I am sure we will be back one day.
Thank you so much for the pleasant stay!

A wonderful place to stay with so much character and history in the building. The best aspect of the stay here was the warmth and friendliness of Sandra and Isabel who hosted us. There is also a nice, big, safe parking at the rear of the premises. And don't miss the breakfast - wonderful!
Located between Portela da Cerdeira and Cerdeira, this typical Portuguese country house in Cerdeira offers scenic views of the surrounding valley and Açor Mountains.

We loved the place! The owner and staff are super nice and helpful, rooms are big, nicely and thoughtfully decorated, bathroom was amazing. The pool was bigger than we expected (rare thing in hotels).
Great breakfasts and exquisite gourmet dinners (not included in the price, but well worth it).

It has a nice view, so you can sit outside and enjoy it. Really silent atmosphere where you get to hear just the sound of leaves and eventually crickets or goats :)

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Great, quiet location and a very welcoming host. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the window was amazing. Overall a very pleasant experience. We would definitely come back.
This was a beautiful place to stay. Every detail was well appointed and the host was very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. We especially enjoyed comfortable beds, good conversations at delicious breakfast and sitting on the lovely terrace under the stars. The quiet and the views were exceptional. It is well located in easy driving range of many interesting sites. Our top choice for this area.
Gorgeous little house in the woods with inviting outdoor seating and a hammock. Marisa is an exceptionally good host and provides everything you might need and more
There are lots of options for river swimming, some only 3 Kms away. We were pleased to have the option of a BBQ. It's in a very scenic, remote and quiet location and good for relaxing - we actually found the church bells from 8 am to 9 at night quite useful, no alarm needed.
Everything was perfect. Lady owner was so kind like everybody in this village. So quiet and nice place with welcoming people. The apartment was cute old house with everhing you could need. Well equipped kitchen, porch with grill grate and also with coal.
If you want peace, fresh air, quiet, beauty and nature this is the place to visit! You will stay in beautifully appointed accommodation with views to die for and a hostess that has anticipated anything you would need during your stay. It is a truly stunning area with so much to do and see, one of my favourite parts of Portugal. You will leave feeling rested and energized!

The location was magnificent, in a small and quiet town, surrounded by nature and amazing views. We can only recommend this place.
We loved everything! The sunset was fantastic, the village is quiet. Brent gave us information we needed (restaurant by the river, waterfall, hikes that we can decide for). In the morning we have received good breakfast. Everything was wonderful!
