Brilliant place to stay. Plenty of space. Kitchen was like being at home. Nice and quiet location in the country , only evening noise were cows and a morepork (owl). Friendly owners. The fresh laid eggs were great. This is why we returned to stay here again, after staying here on our last trip to NZ 5 years ago.

    The location was perfect for our purposes (an appointment in the Maramarua Forest). It would also be excellent for those interested in the birds at the Pukorokoro Bird Centre just down the road and for those looking for a comfortable stay in a rural setting. Being remote, it is a quiet location. Our host was lovely. She couldn't have been friendlier and provided a hearty breakfast. She also provided us with binoculars for our visit to the bird centre.

    The views from the apartment were stunning, even on a rainy cloudy weekend. We were very fortunate to get an unexpected upgrade to the owners home which was amazing. The spa and its location and views was such a treat. There was everything we needed in the home. It was so quiet and peaceful. Owners were really friendly and welcoming on arrival. Loved our stay, definitely would return.
