From the Cleaning staff, breakfast staff, waiting staff, chef, barman and reception staff all were extremely helpful a joy to speak with, the restaurant was the best food we have had during our many visits to Italy, we were lucky enough to attend a cocktail and food matching evening which was outstanding, if you want a proper relaxing enjoyable break this is the place for you. We will definitely return.

Very nice and complete house. A really quit place. Good to reload. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need. From up the hill, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. From here you can visit several places like San Gimignano and Peccioli where I can recommend bar La Terrazza with a very nice view and nice staff. Or go for an wine tasting, Luca, the owner can help you with it. He is very helpfull. Another nice place to go from here is Val d' Elsa. Enjoy!

The property was beautiful and in an excellent location. Easy to find and short drive to SG - the historical site and great restaurants. Host was very welcoming and friendly/helpful. All the staff was friendly too. Plenty of parking. Pool area and grounds were lovely. Bedroom was very spacious and pretty and bathroom had a great shower.

The location, close to the beautiful town of Volterra. Easy to find from the airport and easy to get to lots of lovely places. The apartment itself was spacious clean and well equipped. Sylvia was a great host.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
We stayed at Calanchi in 2019 and always said we would return. We love the rural location, it is so quiet and peaceful with more bird and animal life than nearer town. The pool is beautiful and has glorious views. Easy drive to Montaione for the supermarket and restaurants. It has ample parking , air conditioning, and Lovely outdoor seating on the balcony. Check in and check out are problem free. Alessandro was more than helpful. We have had two exceptional family holidays here, it's a special place, we loved our second visit.
The accommodation is delightful. Clean and spacious. Great pool facilities with loungers in a very quiet location. The accommodation is well placed for travelling to surrounding countryside and coast. The host is very kind and friendly. We arrived late in the day and he had left clear instructions for us to find our place. Communication throughout booking process was excellent. Highly recommended.

We liked the peaceful elevated location with beautiful views on the countryside, great swimming pool, by the Via Francigena (walks), 10-15 min from supermarkets, market, eating places, train station (1h to Firenze). The buildings have got character, the accommodation is very clean, has every comfort (good beds) and facility including garden furniture and private parking. The owners are super hosts, kind and attentive to everyone's needs. We enjoyed the interaction with them and with other guests. We would strongly recommend this place.
Lovely location in the Tuscan countryside. Generally speaking, it should be a nice venue for a quiet and relaxing holiday with a family group. The buildings and pool are well constructed. The "maintainer" or the man who fixes any issues and looks after the pool was responsive and on call seemingly at any time. He did his job in a effective and quietly efficient manner. There were a number of issues however that are outlined below.
Fantastic location central to visut this area of Tuscany. There are wonderful views from terrace. Good local restaurant and another in the next village with lovely panorama of the countryside. Martina was an excellent host, very helpful. The facilities are great basic but all you need and the swimming pool so clean and very quiet.
Located in the tosacanian countryside, this resort is really all that is promises. Beautiful views, luxurious design, great comfort. Breakfast can be served outside. Dinners are posh and need a reservation. The pool has a magnificent view, though the water is a bit too cold.
Staff was great, very helpful and nice.
If you love the countryside, quietness and great scenery, then this is the place for you. The house itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plus an outdoor area that includes a barbecue, dining area and private pool. The host Federico was always in touch and ready to help with any questions. I would love to return to this house again.
