From the Cleaning staff, breakfast staff, waiting staff, chef, barman and reception staff all were extremely helpful a joy to speak with, the restaurant was the best food we have had during our many visits to Italy, we were lucky enough to attend a cocktail and food matching evening which was outstanding, if you want a proper relaxing enjoyable break this is the place for you. We will definitely return.

Villa des Sole is absolute paradise! The property is very beautiful with an amazing pool, stunning views of the Tuscan hills and vineyards and the cutest dog Layla! It is very calm and the best place to relax and wind down. Roberto and the rest of the staff go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and have a wonderful time! Every morning we received a breakfast basket with fresh fruit, breads, croissants, scrambled eggs and other goodies and it was so much that we were fine until dinner! We can fully recommend villa del Sole and very much hope to come back (also since the region is absolutely beautiful)!

The location was great, as long as you have a car. The people were very friendly and helpful. We eere there in Sept and the the winery San Donato was in full productuon which was very interesting.

Very nice and complete house. A really quit place. Good to reload. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need. From up the hill, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. From here you can visit several places like San Gimignano and Peccioli where I can recommend bar La Terrazza with a very nice view and nice staff. Or go for an wine tasting, Luca, the owner can help you with it. He is very helpfull. Another nice place to go from here is Val d' Elsa. Enjoy!

Very comfortable and lovely, cozy vibe. Efforts to make my stay enjoyable and little touches were appreciated, included great host with local recommendations and good English to help with my poor Italian! Very peaceful and quiet at night and felt safe as a solo traveller. The breakfast in the morning was also very good and a beautiful garden area with amazing views and places to sit and relax.

Beautiful and peaceful location in amongst the Olive groves just outside Gambassi Terme in the Toscana countryside. Room was spacious and well appointed, beds super comfortable and facilities as well as the views around the estate superb. Included breakfast was great as were the meals we had in the onsite Restaurant. All staff were warm, friendly, informative and very accommodating. The location is in the Tuscan area in beautiful old stone house/s. We had sweeping views of the country and lovely green space to relax with a wine. The location is quiet and peaceful. Our apartment had a good size kitchen and comfortable beds and lounging area. It was a great location to base ourselves and go off for day trips around the country side, visit wineries and to see other villages and attractions -you definitely need a car if you want to make the most of it. We stayed for 4 nights and I could have stayed longer!

Wow, what a beautiful place to get away and relax in the peaceful Tuscan countryside. The hosts were amazing! We had just arrived from a wedding and didn’t have a car (which I would say you need!). No task was too much - we were provided with taxis when required and they were always happy to help.
The room was authentic and spotlessly clean. The pool was beautiful and the surrounding views speak for themselves. We could not rate this place higher!
