Rose was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The period house itself has some lovely architectural details and although a little dated in decor was very clean with crisp bed linen and fluffy duvets and good pillows. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I’ve had in a B&B and Rose was attentive at the table offering extra beverages and toast ! Its location is perfect for a short stroll along the river into the village where we had a couple of pints in the local pub and chips in the take away on the return . Although there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, Rose ensured we had access to a kettle etc in the dining room. She also kindly made us tea on arrival
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Great breakfast in a fantastic home, Patricia and Tim were lovely hosts and I really enjoyed their company. A little secluded which was perfect as so quiet when sleeping.
Owner is very friendly and hassle free (early) check-in. Beautiful doggy “Patch” gave a warm welcome and demanded some well deserved pets. The location is quiet and peaceful. It’s a self catering cosy stay with a small kitchen, bathroom/toilet, a double bed and a bunk single bed on top + a separate tiny room with double bed. There’s a smart tv with WiFi too.
Loved the wee decking and area out the front. It was great for the kids to play.
There was a great selection of cooking equipment. Loved how quiet and peaceful it was. Beds were super comfy l. And the owner called up the next morning for a wee chat. So friendly. Xmas lights were a great wee touch the kids books and teddy were also a hit with my two as well.. Would definitely return.
House was perfect for our family, the 4 kids loved that they could stay in the upstairs room together. Quiet and peaceful location away from the road so nice and safe. Lots of historical locations nearby that the host was able to recommend to us and was about 40 min from Emerald Park.
Very nice hosts. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. There was even an electric blanket available which I didn't have to use due to the warm temperatures. Very nice bathroom. The B&B is located in the countryside away from the busy streets. It is quiet and cozy. A great place to rest or just to spend the night or a few of them. Delicious Irish breakfast. I highly recommend this place. Daniel
Very modern clean comfortable and warm house.great location walking distance to Nobber village.Very private and peaceful area with lovely country views.Strong broadband which enabled me to work remotely.Delicious breakfast with home grown tomatoes included on the menu. Cooking facilites available. Fabulous trendy bathroom with luxury shower & bath. Spacious rooms with TV & tea/coffee making facilities.
This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we will be back again. We are always made feel so welcome. The breakfast is delicious and the house is very clean. Lovely peaceful location in the countryside.
