A really lovely setting, quiet except for the birds! I went on a nice long hike- there are plenty of options with crossing a major road, and some great views. A nice room with all the things you’d expect, including plenty of milk for the coffee. Friendly and kind staff too. All in all very good value.

The hotel was quiet, set in delightful grounds. It was very conveniently situated to access the Yorkshire Sculpture Park which had been our plan. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Lovely setting quiet and peaceful, very good value for the money. Small evening meal menu but everything was tasty. Excellent cooked breakfast. Staff helpful, we liked the wall of photographs of dogs who had stopped at the hotel.

Lovely location in countryside with woods and walks nearby. The Lodge is situated on its own and is quiet, but very convenient for local amenities including shops and restaurants. Also within a short and easy drive of local places of interest such as Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall Farm and Nostell Priory amongst others. The hot tub at the Lodge was a welcome bonus. The lodge was clean overall and the rooms spacious. A good welcome pack. Lots of parking.
