It was very peaceful and quiet even though there were a few events going on. We loved the yard and coffee shop, fab cakes! Outdoor heated pool was amazing and gorgeous in the sun. The spa staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable for my treatment after I told them I’m in the middle of chemotherapy.

The location is in the countryside making the room so quiet and peaceful. The shower room is on the small size but within the design of the accommodation. I couldn't fault the cleanliness or preservation of the room. The breakfast was a choice from the menu. It was well cooked and very tasty.

The location was so quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes walk from an excellent pub. I have mobility problems and the property was perfeect for me. Everything was very tasteful and good quality. We will definitely be back. A small microwave would be a very useful addition. Thank you Helena for a perfect stay Jose and Tony September 2023

All staff friendly, helpful, efficient. Evening meal good value, delicious. Location in the middle of town with free easy parking so convenient. Newbury was a delightful town, 5 minute walk to independent and major chain shops. Close to Highclere Castle. Bathroom spotless, shower excellent, lovely toiletries. Delicious biscuits with your hot drink supplies. Room 117 very quiet and peaceful. Blackout curtains.
