Beautiful spacious room with one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in. Had the best sleep-peaceful environment. Plenty of parking at the back of the building. All staff so friendly-we got proper milk for our drinks to take to the room. The breakfast was exceptional-set us up for hiking later that day. Highly recommend. One of our favourite stays and if we go hiking again in the area we’ll be back.

Luxurious accommodation. We did not see anyone - apart from a couple of gardeners and a lady cleaning other accommodation. So quiet - we had the whole estate to ourselves. Long walks in the woods and garden. Weather was perfect. Another time might be busy but we loved being there all by ourselves.

The cottage had a lovely atmosphere, cosy and quiet. Clean, kitchen well stocked. Good location, about 15 mins walk into Macclesfield centre, but felt like you were in the countryside. Good base for exploring the area. Would recommend a visit to the silk museum and tour of Paradise Mill next door.

Gorgeous atmosphere, beautifully designed and put together, very cosy and inviting! Amazing food, The best creme brulee I've ever had! 😋 Staff were fab and the rooms were quiet other than the sounds of the river and the birds 💚Very sweet little village to wander through at night. Great location for driving to hiking areas! Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful old country house hotel with lovely decor. All rooms were well decorated with plenty of places to seat and admire the views. A little above our usual price range but food and bar service dinner and breakfast all were superb. Staff extremely friendly particularly the manager Chawki. Location and views over countryside plus the woodland walk were exceptional.
